Gulong Gorge isn't just about thrilling rafting—it's also a foodie paradise!

OMG! After going crazy with hunger while playing at Gulong Gorge with friends, we randomly searched for a nearby restaurant—Gulong Fish Farm—and it instantly became legendary!!

We just wanted a quick bite, but the moment we entered, the lively fish in the tanks caught our eyes. The owner said they're all raised in mountain spring water and cooked fresh to order! We blindly ordered "one fish, two ways": steamed + salt-and-pepper. When the dishes arrived, the aroma was so intoxicating we almost swallowed our chopsticks!

The steamed fish was so tender it wobbled when picked up, drizzled with savory soy sauce and a hint of garlic—freshness that felt like an air conditioner blasting in your mouth! The salt-and-pepper fish bones were next-level: crispy outside, juicy inside, even the tiny bones were fried to perfection. Paired with ice-cold beer? Unstoppable munching!

We also tried the mountain tofu—silky like pudding. A dip in soy sauce brought out the pure freshness of the hills. All three dishes totaled just over 100 yuan—maxed-out value for money!

Thought restaurants near scenic spots were all tourist traps? This place was a massive surprise! After rafting, eating here with mountain breezes and great chats made the whole trip worth it!! Next Gulong Gorge visit? We’re sprinting back here—no one’s stopping us! 😋
