For the May Day holiday, I wanted to find a place where I could both see the sea and relax, so I chose the ZHotel Beidaihe (📍 No. 1888 Dongjing Road, Beidaihe District, Qinhuangdao City). This high-quality chain hotel completely captured my heart! It's located in the center of Beidaihe's scenic spots, with the sea right outside the door. It's a 3-minute walk to the beach, and the sea breeze blows away all my city worries!
The hotel's design is simple yet Instagrammable, the rooms are clean and cozy, and the bedding is as soft as a cloud ⛅️. I slept so well! The local breakfast was a delightful surprise! The seafood noodles were incredibly fresh, and there were all kinds of stir-fries, snacks, and drinks, a mix of Chinese and Western cuisine, nutritious and delicious. After breakfast, I was ready to start my day full of energy. The staff also gave me some great recommendations for things to do nearby, which made me feel like a local.
I checked the tide table and went to the beach to experience tide pooling. I dug for clams, collected shells, caught crabs, and had so much fun taking atmospheric photos. I also visited the Jifa Agricultural Dream Kingdom, which is about a ten-minute drive from the hotel. The idyllic scenery was incredibly healing. I picked strawberries, fed small animals, and felt completely refreshed! In the evening, I returned to the hotel, sat by the window, enjoyed the view, and sipped a cup of coffee ☕️. This is how a holiday should be!
