Struck gold! The laid-back vibe at Chunyu Homestay - Moon Surge is absolutely amazing

Who says vacations must be packed with sightseeing? After two days of pure relaxation at Moon Surge Homestay, I finally discovered how healing "doing nothing" can be!

The moment I stepped in, the overall design took my breath away. No flashy decorations—just warm light spilling from minimalist pendant lamps and wall sconces, paired with wooden furniture and light-toned walls. Even the scent was perfectly curated, wrapping me in a soft cloud of comfort, instantly melting away the tension in my shoulders and neck.

The room details hide clever touches. The muted Morandi color palette creates an ultra-gentle ambiance, while the plush bedding and matching throw pillows make it impossible to get out of bed. A cozy nook by the window, complete with a rattan side table and cushions, invites relaxation. Draw back the curtains during the day, and sunlight streams in—perfect for sipping tea, flipping through a book, and letting the sound of rustling leaves become your background music.

The highlight? The charming open-air courtyard. A winding stone path meanders through lush greenery, dotted with rattan chairs and tables, all under the glow of warm string lights. Spend the day lounging in the shade, lost in thought, and as evening falls, light a small lantern, share drinks and stories with friends, and gaze up at a sky full of stars. No city neon or noise—just nature's purest symphony.

Every corner is Instagram-worthy, but I'd rather laze on the sofa or in the courtyard, soaking it all in. If you're craving an escape from the rush and a place to leisurely "waste time," Moon Surge deserves a spot on your list!
