Hualien｜Colorful Pebble Beach [Qixingtan]

Qixingtan has always been a must-visit destination in Hualien for me. Unlike typical sandy beaches, this coastline is made up of colorful pebbles, each shimmering with unique hues under the sunlight. Walking along the shore, you feel the smooth pebbles beneath your feet, hear the sound of Pacific waves crashing, and your eyes are filled with the endless blue sea view.

Unlike the bustling city areas, Qixingtan offers a tranquil and awe-inspiring experience. As the waves wash over the shore, the pebbles collide with each other, creating a subtle sound that feels like nature's gentle melody. This spot is perfect for sitting quietly and unwinding, or for capturing stunning photos of the colorful pebbles blending harmoniously with the ocean.
