Qixingtan Scenic Area

🏞️ Qixingtan Scenic Area, located in Xincheng Township, Hualien County, is the only county-level scenic area in Hualien County. Despite its name, Qixingtan is actually a beautiful crescent-shaped bay, also known as Crescent Bay. The waters are pristine blue, and the beach is covered in smooth, wave-worn pebbles. From the horizon, you can see rolling green mountains and the majestic Qingshui Cliff, creating a vast and breathtaking scenery.

The scenic area features a 21-kilometer bicycle path connecting Nanbin Park, Hualien Harbor, and the 48th Highland. There are also facilities like a stone sculpture park and a stargazing plaza. Besides enjoying the ocean views during the day, it's also a popular spot for stargazing and night views.

· Note: The waters are deep and have undercurrents, so swimming is prohibited. Beach pebbles are prohibited.
