#holidayitinerary Walking around Parque del Jaguar in Tulum, Quintana Roo feels like stepping into a mix of easy adventure and history rolled into one. This place just opened in late 2024 and it’s already something special, a huge protected spot with jungle trails, lookout towers, beaches, and the Tulum Ruins tucked right in.
You can wander for miles along shaded jungle paths or grab a bike and zip out there, the park’s got a dedicated bike lane that’s a breeze to ride. There’s a cool observation tower, a couple of miradors, plus a cultural lighthouse, all great places to take in those jungle to sea views. Down below are seven beach entrances where you can chill in white sand and turquoise water, making it feel like an adventurous beach day.
Inside the Visitor Center is the Museo de la Costa Oriental, a modest but interesting museum showcasing Maya artifacts and culture. Go early, bring water and sun protection, and enjoy the ride.
