My first solo beach escape 🌊

Laem Charoen Beach, Rayong Province, is just this close to Bangkok.

This beach is near Rayong City. There are public buses that go there.

The highlight of this beach is a coffee shop 🥤
It's so cute. Each shop has chairs and tables in a camping style for you to sit and drink coffee while looking at the sea in a very chill way. There are also some food stalls, but there are more than usual during the holidays.

Most of the shops are locals who come to chill. There are pine trees along the beach. There's not a lot of trash here. I recommend going in the evening before the sun sets. ⛅️
I'll tell you that the sunset at Laem Charoen Beach is just as beautiful as anywhere else. The sky is so beautiful. It's so nice to sit and look at it.

But there are no accommodations. If you want to stay overnight, I recommend the city center or the nearby Saeng Chan Beach area.

🚘Travel: Driving is the most convenient. If you're traveling alone, take the Rayong Tour minibus. Get on at Bang Na Intersection or Mo Chit Ekkamai. Get off at the Rayong Tour office in the city center. Then you can walk to catch a blue public bus. Will you park in front of 7-Eleven near the old transport station or Rayong Transport 1? The fare for the songthaew is 20 baht. The car stops right on the beach. On the way back, there were no more cars, so we had to call a Grab or a motorcycle taxi to take us to our accommodation. On the way back, we returned the next morning and called a Grab to take us to the minibus at the Rayong Tour office as usual.
