Rome | Walking Between Time and Faith

Magnificent ruins and quiet churches coexist within this city. Rome felt like a grand museum and a heartfelt confession.

🧱 Colosseum
Amid the crumbling bricks, the breath of history flowed. More than its grandeur, the countless stories embedded within made the place feel heavier.

🌿 Roman Forum
Walking along the stone paths once trodden by Roman citizens, I imagined the daily life of a once-glorious empire. Even amidst the ruins, there was a serene beauty.

🌕 Pantheon
Looking up at the massive dome, it felt less like "the house of gods" and more like standing before a temple of time. The moment a single ray of sunlight pierced through the central opening and touched the floor, I held my breath.

⛪ Basilica of St. John Lateran
The title "Mother of all Churches" was no exaggeration. The pillars and light within the basilica exuded an overwhelming sense of reverence, compelling me to sit quietly.

🙏 Scala Sancta (Holy Stairs)
Believed to be the stairs Jesus ascended before Pontius Pilate, the sight of people praying as they climbed on their knees left me speechless with solemnity.

Rome is not merely a place to see. It’s a city to walk, feel, and embrace in silence. Those moments will linger in my heart for a long time.
