By all means Rome

Rome — where every stone whispers a story, and every turn feels like stepping into a movie scene.

Spending a few days in this timeless city has been nothing short of magical. From the moment I tossed a coin into the Trevi Fountain (yes, I made a wish!), to watching the golden sunset wash over the Colosseum, Rome constantly reminded me why it’s called the Eternal City.

The history here is overwhelming — in the best way. Walking through the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill felt like traveling back in time. I stood on ancient cobblestones where emperors once walked. It’s humbling and surreal.

One of my favorite moments was sipping espresso at a tiny café near Piazza Navona, watching artists sketch and locals rush by. Rome has this incredible way of being chaotic and graceful at the same time.

Of course, the food deserves its own post — fresh pasta, creamy gelato, and the most flavorful carbonara I’ve ever had. Trastevere at night was a dream: cobbled alleys, fairy lights, and the scent of garlic and rosemary drifting from cozy trattorias.

The Vatican left me speechless. St. Peter’s Basilica is awe-inspiring, but standing beneath Michelangelo’s ceiling in the Sistine Chapel… words fail.

Rome isn’t just a destination; it’s a feeling — of wonder, beauty, and nostalgia all at once.

If you’ve never been, go. And if you have, go again. Rome has a thousand stories to tell, and I feel like I’ve only heard the first few.
