Nalati Grassland: A Kazakh Dreamland in the Tianshan Mountains

Located in the eastern part of the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Nalati Grassland (那拉提草原) is one of China’s most picturesque alpine meadows.

Stretching across the northern slopes of the Tianshan Mountains, the grassland lies at an altitude of about 1,800 to 2,200 meters above sea level, making it an ideal escape into nature, especially during the summer months.
