Ancient Rome Time Travel: The Colosseum and Roman Forum

During my stay in Rome, I visited the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. These places felt like stepping back in time, allowing me to experience the breath of ancient history!

The Colosseum was absolutely breathtaking with its overwhelming presence. The exterior is impressive, but stepping inside sparks the imagination—thinking about the gladiators who once fought here. The view from a nearby hill was stunning as well, and at night, the Colosseum was beautifully illuminated! (Photo 5)

The Roman Forum, considered the heart of the ancient Roman Empire, is vast and filled with ruins. Reflecting on how this was the stage for daily life and politics back then was deeply moving! ✨ The area is expansive, with uneven paths, so I highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.

It was a day where I was completely awestruck by the grandeur of history 🇮🇹
