I've always wanted to visit Xiong'an New Area, and I heard that the ice and snow ⛄️ project at Xiongan Simar is open.
I took my child to Xiong'an for two days over the weekend and compiled a guide to share with you all~
It takes 2 hours to drive from Beijing to Xiong'an, and 1.5 hours by high-speed rail.

Day 1️⃣: Depart from Beijing → Lunch → Yuerong Park → Water Fun → Buffet Dinner → Pedestrian Street
Day 2️⃣: Simar Park → Return to Beijing

🌳【Yuerong Park】
The "Olympic Forest Park" of Xiong'an 🌳, with a great environment, free admission, and free parking.

🏨【Accommodation】
We stayed at the Sofitel Xiong'an, which opened in 2023. It has a great view, and you can see Yuerong Park from the room.
We chose a twin room, which is convenient for kids, and you can watch TV while lying in the bathtub 🛁.
The electric blackout curtains are great, and you can sleep until you wake up naturally in the morning.

🥣【Buffet Dinner】
The buffet dinner was really good 👍 I loved the eel foie gras, hairy crabs, and lamb chops.

♨️【Hot Spring Pool】
There are very few people, the water quality is very clean, and the room temperature is suitable 🌡️ The 60 cm deep pool is very suitable for children, and the water temperature is just right.
There is also a hot spring pool ♨️ next to the large swimming pool. You need to bring a swimming cap, and remember to bring your own swimming ring. You can inflate it at the front desk.

In the lobby, it looks great~ The kids all chose chocolate 🍫 desserts, and the cream strawberries 🍓 were great~

🛍️【Pedestrian Street】
After dinner, you can stroll downstairs, and there is a bookstore, cultural and creative shops, and an indoor playground.

🎪【Simar Park】
The ticket includes the amusement rides inside. It may be the off-season now, so there are not many people, and you basically don't need to queue, which is a great experience.
The new ice and snow ❄️ park is a great place for kids to have fun, and all the rides are included.

⚠️Tips:
① Register your license plate when you check in for easy access.
② Yuerong Park is beautiful when the lights first come on in the evening.
③ Many roads in Xiong'an have bus lanes on the right side, and there are restrictions on weekends.
④ Remember to bring a swimming cap, otherwise you won't be allowed to play in the large swimming pool.
⑤ The Simar ice and snow project is on the left side of the south gate.
⑥ The Baiyangdian Station is closer if you take the high-speed rail.
