Summer Stroll in Roussillon: The Ochre Village of Southern France

This August, my family and I visited the famous ochre village of Roussillon in Southern France. Renowned for its red, yellow, and orange-hued soil, this charming town is often hailed as one of "France's most beautiful villages." We wandered through its narrow cobblestone streets, flanked by houses painted in warm tones that beautifully contrasted with the blue sky, creating a vivid scene reminiscent of a colorful oil painting. Entering the Ochre Trail, we were greeted by layers of vibrant ochre slopes, resembling nature's palette—a truly breathtaking sight. The afternoon sunlight further accentuated the colors, making them even more striking. As we strolled and snapped photos, we soaked in the leisurely atmosphere, turning this journey into one of the most colorful memories of summer.
