What left the deepest impression on me in Saga was the tranquility of the sea. Unlike the hustle and bustle of the city, standing by the shore, the gentle sound of waves and the soft breeze enveloped my heart.
The first place I visited was Karatsu Beach, where the endless stretch of white sand was truly remarkable. Gazing at the horizon where the sea and sky met, it felt as if time slowed down. Walking along the coastline, the small fishing villages and the daily lives of the locals blended together, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Another highlight of the trip was the fresh seafood I enjoyed at Yobuko Fish Market. Especially the live squid sashimi, known for its translucent appearance and chewy texture, was a delight. Eating it by the sea only enhanced its freshness.
The crimson hues spreading across the sea at sunset were the highlight of my Saga journey. Watching the sun slowly set from the serene beach allowed me to deeply feel the leisure and emotion that travel brings.
Saga's sea wasn't extravagant, but its simple and warm charm left a lasting impression on my heart. Just walking quietly by the sea was enough to bring me immense happiness.
