🛄 | A tranquil library in the city of cinema
Just a little away from the bustling center of Cannes, known as the city of film festivals, lies a building with a completely different atmosphere. Nestled within a lush garden, Médiathèque Noailles, once a noble mansion, now serves as a library and cultural center for the public. Here, amidst the city, you can hear birds chirping and leaves rustling in the wind, making it feel like a serene sanctuary where time flows slowly.

🌿 Classic architecture and a warm ambiance
The building's exterior, with its beige stone walls and large windows, exudes the elegance of French classic style. Stepping inside, the warm texture of wooden floors greets your feet, while soft sunlight streams through the high ceilings and large arched windows, illuminating the bookshelves. The subtle scent of books fills the air, and the sight of people quietly reading adds to the peaceful atmosphere. In one corner of the library, old posters and film-related archives are displayed, reflecting Cannes' identity as a city of cinema.

☕ Relaxation in the garden
Surrounding the building is a spacious garden. Sitting on a bench in the shade, sipping coffee, and taking a moment to pause, you can feel the sunlight filtering through the leaves and hear the birdsong, which brings a sense of calm. Although it's a bit away from the sea, the air here carries the warm leisure of the South of France.

1️⃣ Location and access – About a 10-minute walk from the center of Cannes (Centre-ville). There is a slight uphill path, but it's a pleasant walk, especially with the garden to enjoy.
2️⃣ Operating hours – Open weekdays from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday mornings only. Closed on Sundays, so check before visiting.
3️⃣ Photo spots – The area under the arched windows at the front of the building and the garden bench zone are the most beautiful for photos. Morning hours with sunlight are particularly ideal.
