[St. Petersburg] This pumpkin soup is worth visiting the Glad restaurant.

#hellohalloween October is "pumpkin" month. It's during this time of year that I especially love pumpkin dishes. In St. Petersburg, one of the best autumn soups (made with the main symbol of Halloween 🎃), in my opinion, is made at the Italian restaurant Glad 🧡

🧡🍁 The recipe is unusual! They add shrimp (king prawns!) and Parmesan mousse to the soup. And they don't skimp on delicacies; the portions are large and filling.

🧡 The cafe's interior is stylish and pleasant. I even met a famous Russian actor inside!

🧡 The soap and hand cream smell delicious.

🧡 The menu is varied. Pastas (carbonara, porcini mushroom risotto), salads (Greek, Nicoise), pizza (Margherita, pepperoni, four cheeses), desserts (Basque cheesecake, tiramisu, panna cotta, ice cream).

🔶 Address: Karavannaya Street 16/14. Nearby is the Rodina movie theater. The nearest metro station is Gostiny Dvor.

Also within walking distance is Mikhailovsky Castle, the former imperial residence! It is now a branch of the Russian Museum.
