Otori Taisha Shrine, located in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, was founded in 927 and is the head shrine of all Otori shrines and Otori faiths nationwide.
It is located in a dense forest of 49,000 m2, and has a solemn atmosphere.
The main hall is called Otori-zukuri, and it maintains the ancient style of "gabled-roofed ... 1900 years ago, when everyone was mourning the death of Emperor Yamato Takeru, his spirit turned into a swan and flew away from his tomb, landing at Kotobikihara in Yamato (now Kotobikihara Shiratori Mausoleum) and Furuichi in Kawachi Province (now Furuichi Shiratori Mausoleum Kofun). At the place where he landed, a shrine was built and Emperor Yamato Takeru enshrined.
There is a legend that when the swan landed, trees grew overnight, and the sacred area is called "Chikusa no Mori".
The other deity is Otori-rensojin, whose ancestor is Ameno-Koyane-no-Mikoto.

It is said to bring a wide range of benefits, such as luck, good fortune, and protection from evil, and has been a power spot since ancient times.
In front of the east gate, there is a large sacred camphor tree.
If you stop by the large camphor tree "Neagari-san," you will be able to receive the blessings of prosperity in business and improved fortunes, as the "value (roots)" will rise.
