Although the museum focuses on kofun (ancient tomb) materials, it offers an easy-to-understand understanding of Sakai's history and culture.
Exhibiting historical, archaeological, art, and folklore materials, the museum traces the history of Sakai from ancient times to modern times, providing a clear understanding of the city's history and culture.
Special exhibitions feature different themes each time.

There are so many fascinating exhibits that you'll likely spend a long time there.
