[Osaka] Sakai City Daisen Park Japanese Garden

#SummerCampaign

This strolling garden, built within Daisen Park to commemorate the city's 100th anniversary, utilizes traditional Japanese gardening techniques.
Passing through the gate, a beautiful 2.6-hectare garden spreads out, divided into a large pond, stream, and flower plaza. The all-cypress, copper-roofed rest house is reminiscent of the 15th-century meeting halls of wealthy merchants known as "Nayashu."
The opposite bank of the pond, which resembles the ocean, is modeled after mainland China.
Plum trees are also planted here, best seen from mid- to late February.
The autumn foliage is said to be particularly beautiful.

Enjoy matcha tea and sweets while enjoying the view in the Japanese garden (fees apply).

The garden was beautifully maintained.

Admission: ¥200 for adults
