#OsakaAttractions A museum where you can learn about the history of Sakai at a glance. The approximately 1,330-square-meter exhibition hall introduces the historical changes of Sakai in different sections: ancient, medieval, modern, and contemporary. Special exhibitions on selected themes are also held in the spring and fall.
The museum investigates, collects, and preserves cultural materials such as history, art, archaeology, folklore, and industry centered on Sakai, and hopes to contribute to the lifelong learning of citizens and the improvement and development of culture through the display, research, and provision of information on these materials. To achieve this goal, in addition to exhibitions in the exhibition halls and galleries, various lectures are held in the audio-visual room, study room, and lecture room.
