Wat Phra That Choeng Chum Worawihan, Sakon Nakhon

Wat Phra That Choeng Chum Worawihan is a significant temple in Sakon Nakhon province. Inside the vihara, there is a revered Buddha image called Luang Pho Phra Ong Saen. This Buddha image is made of stucco, lacquered, and gilded in the Chiang Saen art style, depicting the Mara Vichaya posture. It is placed on a base that is 1.35 meters high, with a total height from the base to the top of the ushnisha of 3.20 meters and a width of 2.00 meters at the lap. Phra That Choeng Chum itself is a stupa made of brick and mortar, influenced by the design of Phra That Phanom.
