The Haunting Sound of Strings and Silence"
The sound design was masterfully subtle and effective. Instead of loud rock music or electronic noises, the soundscape consisted of haunting, period-appropriate string arrangements and faint harpsichord melodies that would cut out abruptly, leaving you in terrifying silence. The music seemed to emanate from the very walls of the palace, following you through the paths. In the darkest areas, the only sound was the exaggerated crunch of your own footsteps on the gravel, or the quiet, measured breathing of the silent actors near the Orangerie. It was a sophisticated aural assault that worked on a subconscious level, keeping my anxiety high throughout the entire route.
