Worth the Trip for the Photography Alone"
As a photographer, the atmosphere they created was worth the trip from Munich. The fog, the specific lighting on the water features, and the incredible detail in the actors’ costumes provided endless opportunities for stunning, Gothic-themed imagery. The staff were very strict about not interfering with the actors, but the scenes themselves were so beautifully composed, especially the view back towards the Mirabell Palace, that the entire event felt like a living, breathing Baroque painting of the damned.
