The drum tower stands at a height of 42.6 meters and is considered the tallest among Dong ethnic settlements in China. Supported by 56 large pillars, the drum tower is intricately constructed with a 27-story structure, assembled almost entirely without nails, using mortise and tenon joints. This Dong ethnic village features simple houses, wind-and-rain bridges, and drum towers that harmonize beautifully with the picturesque mountain scenery. It is a famous 5A-rated tourist destination.
The Chengyang Bridge is a significant cultural heritage site and the most famous wooden bridge in Dong ethnic areas. The bridge's ingenious structure, with long bench-like seating on both sides of the walkway, is both practical and aesthetically pleasing, leaving visitors in awe.
