Hotel Environment
The hotel is next to the JW Marriott (there is a small path to the JW). As a 5-star hotel, it has all the necessary facilities, including a huge children's play area (see images 6 and 7). My child didn't want to leave! The only problem is that the elevator doesn't have a floor or arrival indicator, which is inconvenient.
Room Experience
As a Marriott Platinum member, I was given a sea view room. The room was spacious and the balcony was in a great location!
Dining Experience
The hotel's breakfast buffet is up to 5-star standards, but there was nothing particularly memorable.
Sea View
The Sheraton has the best sea view in Haitang Bay. The balcony is a great place to take photos. You can walk through the hotel's green space and pool area to reach the beach. However, the beach in Haitang Bay is not as good as Yalong Bay in terms of sand quality or size.
Service Experience
The service at the hotel is probably the worst of the 5-star hotels in Haitang Bay. The front desk staff were cold when I checked in. On the day I checked out, the cleaning staff kept asking me when I was leaving, which was annoying.
Transportation
As a beachfront hotel in Haitang Bay, you will need to take a taxi to get around. However, it is easy to get a taxi to the duty-free shop or a restaurant, which takes about 10 minutes.
