Wuzhizhou Island Tourists' Personal Guide | Diving + Sightseeing Bus + Pitfall Avoidance Guide

As a tourist who just came back from Wuzhizhou Island, I would like to share a nanny-level guide based on real experience, teaching you how to explore the island in one day and avoid the minefields!

1. Key preparations before departure

1. Transportation

It is recommended to choose the "Scenic Area Through Bus": starting from Sanya City (Dadonghai/Yalong Bay), 25 yuan/person round trip, which is more cost-effective than taking a taxi.

Parking is difficult at the pier! If you drive, it is recommended to arrive before 8:30, otherwise you will have to wait in line for at least 1 hour.

2. Tickets

· Buy the "boat ticket + sightseeing bus" package (NT$245) online one day in advance, which is NT$50 cheaper than on-site!

· Half-price tickets are available for students and senior citizens, and free tickets are available for children under 1.2 meters.

3. Items you should bring

· Sunscreen (SPF50+), sun-protective clothing, sunglasses, waterproof phone bag, Crocs (don’t wear flip-flops, as the boat will be slippery).

· A light backpack! The rental fee for the project locker is 30 yuan/hour.

2. Tour route planning (efficient and non-tiring version)

Morning: Diving first!

It is recommended to be the first group to arrive at the island at 8:30 and go straight to the "Diving Service Center" (on the left side of the pier).

Diving options:

Newbies can choose "Coral Reef Diving" (680 yuan): 3-4 meters underwater, lots of fish, and 1-on-1 guidance from the coach.

· Experienced diver chooses "Advanced Diving" (NT$1,280): Explore the sunken ship with super high visibility!

· Avoid pitfalls: Underwater photography is 398 yuan/set, look at the sample photos before deciding; refuse hidden consumption (mask, fish food).

Noon: Island lunch

· We recommend the "Summer Restaurant" buffet (98 yuan/person), which is more cost-effective than ordering snacks; you need to eat your own instant noodles in the designated area.

Afternoon: Island sightseeing + photo taking

Must-take "Luxury Island Bus" (138 yuan/person): You can hop on and off at 6 stops, and get a free beach chair!
