We stayed at the InterContinental Yalong Bay Resort in a lakeside family tent room⛺ The welcome fruits and snacks were delicious - kids loved them! As an IHG property, WiFi auto-connects upon arrival with screen mirroring📺 Notably, this was the only hotel during our Hainan trip with USB ports😂 Traveling solo with kids without chargers would've been disastrous for tablet cartoons😭 Seeing USB ports felt like salvation😂 Room amenities included kid's bathrobes, toiletries, potty seat and bathtub✅ Staff were incredibly attentive - from promptly clearing plates to holding elevators - heartwarming details❤️

Indoor playground with ball pits, cartoons, climbing nets and slides. My kid even invited others to play🤭 Pure joy💖

💦 Kids' water zone bubble party + Cloud Pool family event
Evening bubble bash at the shallow water park - slides designed so no face splashes, perfect for timid kids~ We also tried the 3rd floor Cloud Pool and infinity pool! The family party was hilarious with energetic staff entertaining kids🤣

At Caifeng Lou Chinese Restaurant - fermented hot pot with tender white pomfret!

🌊 Beach play
Just across the street - calm, clean waters where my child dug sand for over an hour

🚞 Train ride
Caught the last free shuttle train🚞 before bedtime - amazing value

Pre-breakfast alpaca meetup - "Mom look how cute it is!"🤣 Post-meal lobby fan crafting session ended with proud artistic display😆

Fully padded climbing nets, slides, swings and whisper tubes in this shaded outdoor playground with cooling fans - kids played endlessly

Stellar Family Restaurant served our prettiest meal‼️ My son gasped entering - imagine if we had a daughter😅 All dishes were kid-approved👍🏻

Our Hainan trip ended too quickly😆 Grateful our finale was at InterContinental - the perfect happy ending💝
