At first, they said that going to Sanya means staying in a hotel, and I just didn’t believe it!

Many people say that when you come to Sanya, you just play in the hotel, and I never really believed it. The first two days in Sanya, I took my kid to check out attractions and was exhausted to the point of collapse～😭

For the rest of the trip, my kid and I just stayed in the hotel and didn’t want to leave. We slept until we naturally woke up, and when we opened the window, we could see the blue sea 🌊. In the evening, we rushed to the ocean during the blue hour. Who can understand such romance!

💡My hard-earned advice for Sanya
1️⃣ If you bring kids, don’t act like a special forces soldier! Staying in a hotel in Haitang Bay + 1-2 attractions (Wuzhizhou Island / Houhai Village) is enough.

2️⃣ Choosing the right hotel is key! If your budget allows, go straight for the resort hotels in Haitang Bay or Yalong Bay, with full facilities and a great experience; if you want to be close to the city, choose Sanya Bay or Dadonghai, where there are many budget hotels and convenient transportation.

3️⃣ Don’t fall into the low-price tour trap! Sitting in a car for six or seven hours every day rushing to attractions, getting up early and staying out late, and possibly being forced to shop—free travel with hotel stays plus a few attractions is the most comfortable way to travel with kids.

4️⃣ Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen... The daytime sun in Sanya is really strong. A sunshade straw hat, sunglasses, sun-protective clothing, and sunscreen spray are all indispensable, or you’ll get sunburned and peel in no time.

5️⃣ Avoid transportation pitfalls! Don’t take illegal taxis when you land. Cross the zebra crossing from Exit 7 to the parking lot on the opposite side, then take a ride-hailing car on the third floor. It’s convenient and safe.

6️⃣ Beach quality ranking: Haitang Bay > Yalong Bay > Sanya Bay > Dadonghai. Haitang Bay has fewer people and finer sand, but the waves are a bit stronger.

This time I stayed at the Hyatt Hotel in Haitang Bay 🏨

At dusk during the blue hour, holding my kid’s hand for a stroll, the sky turns pink and purple, the sea breeze gently blows, this private beach has few people and beautiful views, the sand is fine, the child digs in the sand and plays in the water, and I watch the sunset on the beach chair. It’s so healing...
✅ The Kids’ Club keeps them busy all day: indoor and outdoor playgrounds + crafts, music classes + outdoor electric scooters, the kid played until they didn’t want to go home～
