SANYA Guanyin Goddess

If you’re planning a trip to Hainan, I highly recommend exploring Haikou → Wenchang → Qionghai → Sanya. Each stop has its own charm, and together they create the perfect mix of culture, nature, and food.
✨ Highlights of My Trip:
• Haikou – A city full of local vibes. Don’t miss their 老爸茶 (Laoba Tea), where locals gather over tea and dim sum-style snacks. It’s the best way to start the day slowly, just like a Hainanese.
• Wenchang – Famous for Wenchang Chicken (海南四大名菜之一). The beaches here are quieter, making them great for long walks.
• Qionghai – Known for its tranquil countryside and river scenery. Perfect if you enjoy cycling or a relaxed boat ride.
• Sanya – Tropical paradise! From golden beaches to mountains overlooking the sea, every sunset here feels magical. Best enjoyed with fresh coconut in hand.
🌅 Views You Shouldn’t Miss:
• Sunset at the coastline (Sanya Bay & Qionghai lakefront are especially stunning)
• Mountain + sea view combo (try Luhuitou Mountain in Sanya)
• The peaceful fishing villages around Wenchang
🍴 Local Flavors Worth Trying:
• 老爸茶 (Laoba Tea) – A must for breakfast or afternoon tea
• Wenchang Chicken
• Dongshan Lamb (Qionghai specialty)
• Hainanese Rice Noodles (抱罗粉, 文昌粉)
• Fresh tropical fruits (mango, coconut, passionfruit everywhere!)
🌍 Why I Loved It:
This trip gave me the best of both worlds: laid-back mornings sipping tea with locals, and breathtaking evenings watching sunsets melt into the sea. The food is soulful, the views are unforgettable, and the island vibe is simply unmatched.
👉 Highly recommend Hainan if you want a trip that combines beautiful nature, authentic flavors, and real local culture.
