📍Seda, a place lacking oxygen but not faith|
Simply because I saw a photo of those red houses, I longed to go there..
Finally! I packed my backpack, set off on a journey, to find the pure land hidden deep within my heart.
📍The full name of the Buddhist Academy is Seda Larung Gar Five Sciences Buddhist Academy, with an average altitude of 3900 meters. All those living in the red houses are practicing students. Each person has their own house, living a simple life, dressed plainly, without material desires, but with bright eyes and peaceful smiles.
📸Viewing spots
Seda Mandala City: Located on the top of the mountain of Seda Buddhist Academy, with three levels, where you can turn the prayer wheels
📸Buddhist Academy Viewing Platform: You can get there by walking along the road to the left of the Mandala City, where you can overlook the panoramic view of Seda Buddhist Academy, a great place for taking photos
Buddhist Academy Long Staircase: Walking along the staircase allows you to closely admire the red houses
Yao Wang Mountain Grassland: There are many chubby marmots on the mountain, and you can feed them
📍Warm tips
On the mountainside and riverside, you can see many colorful Buddha statues and scriptures, do not step on them, and do not take them away!
Seda has many religious buildings, such as temples and stupas, which should not be climbed, nor should you walk around them in a counterclockwise direction!
Do not touch the heads of local children, as only living Buddhas are allowed to do that
Without permission, do not randomly take photos of local Tibetans, monks, and the interior of temples
It's very cold on the mountain, so wear a thick coat or down jacket
You can bring red accessories, such as scarves, shawls, etc., for taking photos, which results in good pictures
