Hokkaido's "Sapporo Clock Tower" is a tourist spot related to Dr. Clark

This building was built as an auditorium at the suggestion of Dr. Clark, the father of Hokkaido's development.

Name of facility: Sapporo Clock Tower (official name: Former Sapporo Agricultural College Drill Hall)

Location: Kita 1-jo Nishi 2-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido

Access: Approximately 10 minutes on foot from the south exit of JR Sapporo Station

Approximately 5 minutes on foot from Odori Station on the Namboku Line of the Sapporo Municipal Subway

Opening hours: 8:45-17:10 (entry until 17:00)

Admission fee: 200 yen for adults (free for high school students and younger)

Closed: New Year (January 1-3)

There is a stand to place your mobile phone in front of the photo spot (third photo). The second photo was taken with your mobile phone placed on the stand. Be careful not to miss it as the building blends into the city 😊
