Sapporo's clock tower

When sightseeing in Sapporo, it's almost a must to visit the #SapporoClockTower and #RedBrickGovernmentBuilding.
The Clock Tower is a wooden clock tower built in 1878. Its official name is the Former Sapporo Agricultural College Drill Hall, and it can be said to be a symbol of Sapporo. Admission is 200 yen. Although it is surrounded by high-rise buildings, this is the only historic building and is very charming.
The Red Brick Government Building is currently undergoing renovations, but there is also a temporary viewing facility. Exhibits will resume next year. It is lit up at night, a perfect match for the red bricks. It is truly an #Instagrammable mecca.
Both locations are within walking distance of Odori Station, #OdoriPark, and Sapporo Station.
