held at the Akarenga Terrace in the center of Sapporo, so

A flower festival held at Sapporo Kita 3-jo Square (commonly known as Akapura)

Sapporo Flower Carpet 2024 is a flower event that creates a large painting using petals and natural materials.

The first event was held in 2014 at Sapporo Kita 3-jo Square (Akapura), and it is a citizen-participation event where volunteers and people from the surrounding area spread petals of roses, carnations, etc. in the square to create colorful paintings.

It turned out to be a pretty beautiful event, and many local people and tourists from Japan and abroad came.

It's also in front of the Red Brick Terrace, so it's a good place to take a break at a cafe or restaurant.
