This complex sweets salon was renovated from the former Hokkaido Prefectural Library, built in the Taisho era, and designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando. The harmony of red brick and exposed concrete, as well as the impressive second-floor library cafe, feature a wall of bookshelves reminiscent of the library of the past.
