One of the most popular activities in the area is the circuit hike around the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto mountains. While this route does not feature a large lake, it does offer constantly changing scenery that includes views of several of the nearby peaks and high alpine meadows. The route also passes by several mountain huts, providing rest stops with spectacular views.
