The main hike around the Sassolungo (Langkofel) group is a stunning and challenging full-day loop. There are several ways to complete the circuit, but most hikers either start at Passo Sella or use the distinctive "standing box" cable car to reach the Toni Demetz Hut and begin from there.
Difficulty: Strenuous. This is a long hike with significant elevation changes and some rough, rocky terrain, especially near the Toni Demetz Hut.
