Sendai's cherry blossoms usually bloom from early to mid-April.

- The largest cherry blossom forest in the city, with 1,200 Somei Yoshino cherry trees that look like a sea of pink clouds!
- Nighttime lighting (18:00-21:00): The night view of the cherry blossoms and the observatory after lighting is extremely romantic.

The top 100 cherry blossom spots in Japan: 360 beautiful weeping cherry trees, which bloom earlier (late March to early April).
- Free Japanese garden landscaping: small bridges, flowing water and weeping cherry blossoms complement each other, making you feel like you are traveling back in time to ancient times.
🚃 Transportation: 3 minutes walk from JR "Ryuoka Station".
🍡 Recommended ways to enjoy cherry blossoms in the two parks
1. Daytime: Take photos of weeping cherry blossoms at Ryuoka Park → Have Sendai beef tongue for lunch ("Rikyu" or "Ida no Gyutan" are recommended).
2. Evening: Enjoy the cherry blossoms in the West Park → Eat snacks at the market → Wait for the night cherry blossoms to be lit up.
3. Side trip: Take the "Rupuru Sendai" bus to Sendai Castle Ruins and overlook the city's cherry blossoms!

- It is cold in West Park at night, so remember to bring a coat.
- Liugang Park has no night lighting, so it is recommended to visit during the day.
- Admission to both parks is free, but payment at the market is mainly in cash.
