Jeju's Must-Visit "Columnar Joints": Rugged Waves and Sculpted Rocks

Daepo Columnar Joints are conveniently located near the Jungmun Tourist Complex, making them easily accessible.

Although not vast in scale, the scenery combined with the sound of waves crashing is refreshing and impressive. On this day, the waves were calm, but during rough weather, waves can soar over 20 meters high.

There is an entrance fee, but the well-maintained walking trails make it easy to explore, and the observation deck is perfect for taking photos.

However, during the peak of summer, there is little shade, making it quite hot to stay for long. 😅
