Jeju is a beautiful island off the coast of South Korea, with amazing hiking trails, cristalline water, white beaches and a lot of culture.
Although the island offers a very good public busses service, renting a car makes the travel easier and faster. Remember that, as a foreigner, to drive in South Korea you will need an International Driving Permit, your home country driving license (order than 1 year) and a credit card.
Now, let's dive into some itinerary ideas for 3 days driving in Jeju (arriving through night before and leaving the morning after)
📅 Itinerary
Day1: Exploring the West and Southwest.
Morning: Handam Coastal Walk – Hyeopjae Beach – lunch + swimming
Afteenoon: O’Sulloc Tea Museum / Innisfree Songaksan Viewpoint (1.5H trail)
Day2: Attractions nearby Seogwipo.
Morning: Cheonjiyeon Waterfall - Jusangjeollidae - Jungmun Saekdal Beach.
Afternoon: Jeongbang Waterfall (and rest)
Sunset: Oedolgae.
Day3: Exploring East and Northeast.
Morning: Seongsan (and Udo if the weather is not too hot)
Afternoon: Jeju Stone Park and Hamdeok Beach
