Seogwipo Submarine Company's one-hour submarine tour takes you on an exploration of the wreck and its surroundings. The itinerary is straightforward and worth the price of admission for a ride on a rare submarine. While the experience is well-designed, the actual sights are highly dependent on the weather. On clear days with excellent visibility, you can spot fish, corals, and jellyfish.
The ticket price may seem a bit high, but it's a great way for families to create lasting memories on a trip to Jeju Island. We did see fish, as you'd expect, but perhaps 40 meters isn't too deep, so there weren't too many. While that's typical of movies and TV shows, I still saw schools of fish frequently. The divers were hard at work underwater, and the seaweed was beautiful, like a garden.
