🌿🏠 Immerse in Jeju’s Past at Seongeup Folk Village 🏜️✨

#hellohalloween

Nestled in Pyoseon-myeon, just outside Seogwipo on Jeju Island, Seongeup Folk Village is a living relic of island life — a walled village with thatched-roof stone homes and narrow lanes that date back at least 600 years.

Here, visitors stroll between traditional houses, Confucian shrines and folk monuments while glimpsing how Jeju’s people once lived. Some homes are still occupied, and the village preserves tangible and intangible heritage including folk songs, craft traditions and historic architecture.

It’s a place for quiet discovery: pause at a dol hareubang (stone guardian), wander beneath lava-rock walls, try on a hanbok (traditional Korean costume), or simply enjoy the calm atmosphere and mountain-meeting-sea setting.
