Yongnuni Oreum is 247.8m above sea level, 88m high, 2,685m in circumference, and 404,264㎡ in area. It is located 3km from Songdang to Seongsan on the central mountain road (National Road No. 16). Oreum is a Jeju dialect word meaning a small mountain, and it refers to a parasitic volcanic cone at the foot of Hallasan Mountain that has individual craters, is made of volcanic debris, and has the shape of a volcanic cone. It is said to resemble a dragon lying down, and the large hollow in the middle of the mountain is said to resemble a dragon lying down, and when looking down from above, the shape of the crater looks like a dragon's eye, so it is named Yongwaak (龍臥岳). It is a composite volcanic body with scattered hills of lava morphology, and there are three circular craters on the summit, and an oval crater that is slightly open to the east and west. Overall, the mountain body forms a horseshoe-shaped crater that is shallow and wide towards the east side.
