Yongnunioreum is said to resemble a dragon lying down, and the large depression in the middle of the mountain is said to resemble a dragon lying down, and when looking down from above, the crater looks like a dragon's eye, so it is named Yongwaak (龍臥岳). It is a composite volcano with scattered hills of lava craters, with three circular craters in a row at the top and an oval crater slightly open to the east and west inside. The entire mountain forms a horseshoe-shaped crater that is shallow and wide open toward the east. The foot of the crater is made up of hills of lava craters that were deposited when some of the crater rim was destroyed by lava flow after the volcano was formed. The entire area is covered with grass and meadows, and water parsley and halmi flowers live there. You can see Sonjabong Peak, Darangshi Oreum, Donggeomi Oreum, etc. while going around the crater at the top, and you can also look out over Seongsan Sunrise Peak, Udo Island, and the sea. It is an oreum that you can look around in about an hour. It is a good oreum for a light walk, but the big downside is that there is a lot of horse dung. Be careful if you go wearing new shoes.
