Jeju Island has a natural rest period. Yongnuni Oreum is currently under a two-year natural rest period (restricted access) from February 1, 2021, to January 31, 2023, to support the restoration and conservation of its vegetation.

It seems like a good idea to allow people to enjoy the beautiful nature for a long time :)

I went without knowing it was under a natural rest period. 🙄 I couldn't climb the oreum, but it was still a beautiful photo with the oreum in the background!
