Access: 10 minutes walk from Anguk Station
Address: Gyedong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Korea
A traditional residential area 10 minutes walk from Anguk Station.
It is said that this area has recently become popular again as it is a place where you can experience traditional and vintage Korea with rows of old Korean houses.
The wooden houses, stone and plaster houses, and the spiral mark unique to hanok are cute.
We climbed the hill to a spot called the Six Views of Hanok, and when we looked down from above, we could enjoy the contrast with the skyscrapers of Seoul, which was very beautiful.
There is a rental costume shop near the entrance, so it might be nice to change into a traditional costume here.
