[Korea, Jongno] I'll definitely buy it again! The popular fried gwabaegi at Gwangjang Market

"Chapsal Kwabaegi" is a kwabaegi specialty store located at the entrance of Gwangjang Market in Seoul. ✨

I checked the opening time on an information website beforehand and it said it was 11am, so I arrived early 🩵

When I arrived in front of the store at around 10:15am, they were still setting up, so I wandered around the market and returned at 10:35am, and it had already opened and there was already a long line of over 50 people 💦

But it was surprisingly fast and I was able to buy it in about 20 minutes 😋

There are 4 types on the menu
▪Kwabaegi
▪Bean paste donut
▪Black rice donut
▪Sweet potato bean paste donut

The outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy and chewy, light and not as oily as I thought, so it was very delicious🫶🏻

They serve it in a cup so your hands don't get dirty and it's easy to eat👍🏻

I visited again later at night, so there was no line, so
it's best to go before closing time😉
