📍Anguk, Seoul
A long-established rice cake shop founded in 1949
Have you ever tried traditional Korean rice cakes?
I like them and often buy them for myself
I saw that they have been awarded the Blue Ribbon (Korean version of Michelin) consecutively since 2012
Let's have them as a snack at the hotel! I thought so, and after a lot of deliberation, I bought three out of the 10 varieties✨️
・Yomogi Daifuku, sprinkled with kinako and bean paste
・Sesame oil-scented Matsumochi, with sesame paste
・Thick mochi, with white soybeans, walnuts, chestnuts, pine nuts, yuzu, jujube, and honey
All of them have a strong elasticity and a natural and elegant sweetness, made without preservatives and using only Korean ingredients😌✨️
This shop has been protecting its history and traditions for over 30 years, and was selected by the city of Seoul as an "Oregage" with the hope that it will continue to be a long-established shop
Popular areas It's also close to Anguk Station, so I'd like to try other flavors♪
If you're visiting popular tourist spots in Korea, such as Gyeongbokgung Palace or Bukchon Hanok Village, be sure to check it out🫶
