Chasing Cherry Blossoms: A Spring to Remember in Korea (2025)

#aprilblooms

🌸 Spring in Korea this year felt like a soft, fleeting dream. The cherry blossoms didn’t wait—they bloomed quickly, beautifully, and vanished just as fast. I couldn’t stay still. To truly experience them, I had to move. So I did—every day, a new destination, a new chance to catch their peak before the petals fell.

☀️ From Seoul’s Yeouido Park to the dreamy tunnels of cherry trees in Jinhae, I found myself constantly in motion, chasing what felt like a vanishing moment. The weather shifted often—sunny and bright one day, windy or cloudy the next—but the blossoms made everything feel gentle.

🥀 Some days, I arrived just in time. The trees were in full bloom, petals floating down like snow. Other times, I was late—the ground already blanketed in soft pink, the branches nearly bare. But even then, there was something beautiful about it. This is a reminder that beauty doesn’t last forever, and that’s what makes it precious.

🌳 Now that the season has passed, I realize it wasn’t just about the cherry blossoms. It was about the journey. The effort, the movement, the longing to hold onto something fleeting. I’ll remember the colours and the peaceful walks alone surrounded by pink.

🩷 Spring 2025 gave me more than photos—it gave me memories stitched together by soft petals, quiet mornings, and the joy of not knowing what I’d find until I got there.
