Anguk's charming cafe IOI – A peaceful afternoon, my personal healing space.

Located at the end of the Bukchon Hanok Village walking trail, IOI is a cozy cafe tucked away in a quiet alley. Slightly removed from the bustling crowds, it’s the perfect spot to take a momentary pause in the heart of Seoul.

The cafe’s exterior features a minimalist design inspired by traditional Hanok architecture. Upon entering, you’re greeted by a warm atmosphere with wooden furniture, earthy-toned walls, and soft lighting. Gentle jazz music plays in the background, and the spacious table arrangement makes it an ideal place to enjoy some alone time.

The most memorable items on the menu were the Matcha Tiramisu and Cold Brew. The slightly bitter matcha paired beautifully with the creamy texture, melting in your mouth, while the Cold Brew had a mild acidity and a rich, lingering flavor. The visually appealing presentation also made it fun to snap photos.

The window seats offer a picturesque view of Hanok rooftops, making them a perfect photo spot. Sitting there with a book in hand, you might lose track of time.

Whether you’re strolling through Bukchon or Insadong and need a quiet break, IOI cafe is a wonderful choice for a serene and charming experience.
