JW Marriott Dongdaemun's Fall Season 'Deep in Chocolate Afternoon Tea'

Following the strawberry season in January and the mango season from May, I revisited for the October chocolate afternoon tea.

The seasonal offering lasted for about five months, and when I inquired in May, they mentioned that the mango season would continue until November. However, due to issues like ingredient availability in autumn, the menu has changed as expected.

It seems this chocolate afternoon tea will run for about one to two months until the strawberry season begins. During this visit, it appears the pastry team has changed.

Compared to the previous two seasons, the composition, plating, and most importantly, the taste of the bread have significantly improved. It's delicious.

The cream-based items that dominated the previous two seasons have been replaced with bakery-based offerings. The plating now opts for uniformity between the first and second tiers. There are also noticeable efforts to enhance the savory items.

Aside from the pastry offerings, I visited four times between January and May, but in October, none of the staff from those visits were present.
